We are pleased to announce that for season 2 we will be in residence at The Abreact Performance Space located at 1301 West Lafayette Street Detroit, MI.

The fine line between prejudice and racism is navigated in the controversial White People, written by playwright J.T. Rogers, which was nominated for both the John Barrymore Award and L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award for “Best Play of the Year”. In White People we meet college professor Alan, housewife Mara Lynn, and high-powered lawyer Martin, who share their stories.

“In brutally honest confessions that eat through protective layers like acid from a battery... the piece never strikes a false note... Rare plays like this one help lift the veil.”- The Los Angeles Times

White People
opens October 24 and closes November 9  2014.

Picture a still candle flame as seen through the sharpness of glass- in the Spring of 2015 comes a fresh take on the American classic,
The Glass Menagerie  by Tennessee Williams. Guest artist Amanda Ewing returns to Puzzle Piece to direct this New York Drama Critics Circle Award winner. This rhapsodic play weaves in and out of memory – it lives in the memory of the teller, and it still exists when you leave the theatre and recall it on your own.

The Glass Menagerie  plays from March 13 through 29 2015.
